2024 Award Nominations Are Now Open!
It's time to celebrate excellence! On behalf of the KCAR Awards Committee Chairperson, Immediate Past President Rich Jacobson, we are excited to announce that nominations for the 2024 Kitsap County Association of REALTORS® Awards are now open!
We need your help to recognize the exceptional individuals who have made a significant impact on our Association, industry, and community.
There are seven different award categories, which means lots of opportunities to nominate REALTORS®, Affiliates, and community members!

The winners of these prestigious awards will be announced at our Installation & Awards Breakfast on Friday, January 24, 2025.

How to Nominate:
Click on the "NOMINATE HERE" buttons below to submit your nominations via Google form! Include as much detail as possible, and our awards committee will gather additional information from the nominee as necessary.

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS is Wednesday, December 11th at 9:00 PM.

Who Can Nominate?
Anyone can nominate! Whether you're a nominee's broker, a colleague, a spouse, or a representative from a partner organization or another board of REALTORS® – we want to hear from you. For some awards, nominees must be a REALTOR®, a current member in good standing of KCAR, WR, and NAR, or an Affiliate member. Some awards are open to non-members.
Can I Nominate Myself?
Absolutely! We encourage self-nominations. Who knows your journey better than you? If you're uncomfortable "selling" yourself, collaborate with someone familiar with your work to provide a comprehensive view.
How Do I Make My Application Stand Out?
Your essay is key! Be specific, avoid vague words, and focus on achievements rather than general organization impact. Leadership is crucial – showcase what your nominee has done to lead, set examples, or initiate positive changes.
Are Nominations Anonymous?
When we communicate with the nominee, the person who nominates them remains anonymous however you are welcome to tell them that you nominated them if you wish. All submissions will be treated anonymously by the Awards Committee and graded with impartiality. Only the CEO, who does not take part in deciding the award winners, will see the nominee's names. The nomination forms are judged blindly by the Awards Committee.

Where Can I Nominate?
All nominations must be received through our online application by the specified deadline. No fax or email submissions!

Important Tips for Your Submission:
- Be specific about hours volunteered, people helped, and funds raised.
- Avoid relying on superlatives; instead, provide concrete examples.
- Don't be modest; collaborate if needed and include testimonials.
- Describe results and the impact made on the community or individuals.
- Focus on personal accomplishments, not just organizational contributions.
- Highlight leadership initiatives – detail how your nominee led, motivated, or initiated positive changes.
Submit your nomination even if you don't have all of the details about the individual. Let us know who you think deserves to be recognized and the Awards Committee will help gather additional information!
